ippumで人気だった「point」が、より扱いやすい素材に生まれ変わった後継の糸。以前より細くなったので、単独ではさらりと軽やかに、複数本の引き揃えではふっくらとした表情に、と使い分けが楽しめます。

おすすめは【三本取り】。3本そろえて編むと、粒々がぽこぽこ浮き上がって、もこもことかわいい編み地になります。
単独で編めば、ポップコーンの粒がさりげないアクセントに。ほかの糸と合わせて引き揃えれば、粒感がポイントになって作品がぐっと華やぎます。

"Cotton Popcorn" is a playful yarn with cotton popped into little popcorn-like bobbles that add texture and character.
It is the renewed successor to ippum's much-loved "point" yarn, now spun in an easier-to-work material. It is finer than before, so it feels light and smooth worked on its own, and turns plump and full when held together in multiple strands.

We especially recommend working it in THREE strands held together - the little bobbles pop up all over for a soft, fluffy "moko-moko" fabric.
Used on its own, the popcorn bobbles become a subtle accent; held together with other yarns, the texture adds a lovely, rich detail to your work.
